Kano / Diplo at the Knitting Factory

From Friday night's Roll Deep Crew / A-Trak show to Saturday night's Kano / Diplo show.

Diplo hit the stage and a girl yelled, "Have my babies!"  That was pretty funny.  He then went on to drop hot joint after joint.  Kano must've been running late though cause Diplo had a really long set, not complaining though had a fun time hearing lots of Grime to Trina/Lil Wayne to Bone Thugs N Harmony.  One weird thing was seeing a bunch of people rush towards the stage to touch Diplodicus.  Not just girls either.  That was some stadium rockstar treatment.  (Prefix interview with Diplo

I'm surprised that Kano hasn't completely blown up in the U.S. yet.  I think it might only be a matter of time though.  His flow catches your ear immediately and it seems to come so easily to him.  When Kano finally hit the stage past 1AM I was pretty exhausted, but he came with the energy.

Simple Mission breaks the show down / Brooklyn Vegan has much better pics
Zombie Politics has better pics too including one of Diplo dancing around
