Blog payola, or I can't believe they're payin' me for this...
In a desperate attempt to saturate the world's blogs with even more Clap Your Hands Say Yeah posts... Clap Your Hands Say Yeah played South Street Seaport and rather than gush and gush about the band or talk about how David Byrne was in attendance (Brooklyn Vegan's got photo evidence), were only hitting on one thing tonight... and that is "Satan Said Dance." Come on, record this fit of amazing singalong perfection already. Right now, we're only going to hear it at the live shows and even for those of you who think CYHSY is the worst thing since potatoes, you will love this song. Anyone out there have a demo or live recording?

Ditto on CYHSY's hype. That's all it is, HYPE! I was more impressed musically by the opening act The Way It Is from Seattle, WA. Now that guy was good. And his CD is great!

I've listened a few more times and the CYHSY is not bad by any means, but I don't love it either. I don't hate the guy's voice either, but I can see why some people don't like it.
